  StoresOnline Helps Amino Acid Distributor Spread Healing

David Stout, Storesonline Success MerchantWhen David Stout, vice president of Newtown Naturals, attended a StoresOnline seminar, he found what he'd been looking for.

Newtown Naturals, a producer of an amino acid formula, has generally worked with medical practitioners, physicians, and doctors to distribute their product. In the past this method worked extremely well. In fact, it worked so well that many people began to tell their friends and families about the benefits of the amino acid product given them by their practitioners. This word-of-mouth publicity led to many interested referrals calling and ordering the product over the phone.

The overwhelming demand for the product led David to attend the StoresOnline preview and all-day workshop in March 2002. He was looking for a method to satisfy the increasing demand for his company's patented product. After attending the workshop, he was satisfied that "Storesonline seemed like a good fit."

"The tools StoresOnline had seemed easy to use, and I could get something up quickly, because I didn't have a lot of time to do it," he says.

Having been bogged down by too many calls and orders placed over the phone, David knew the StoreOnline Shopping cart would definitely meet both his customers' and his company's needs.

Today Newtown Naturals has a business-to-consumer sales revenue of USD $8,000 per month, an increase from only $1,000 per month one year ago, due largely to the company's online presence and e-commerce capabilities.

Although an increase in sales revenue brings a successful smile to David's face, he also values the healing and relief customers experience as they use the amino acid formula.

"A lot of times in our society, being successful has a monetary aspect, but success is also measured in many other ways," says David. "True success is helping people and helping them get better, and when we can see that-when we can see that we are actually making a difference with these people-we feel we are successful."

"Our goal is to help as many people as we can-healing and relieving the health problems they have-helping them get beyond [their ailments] and live a normal life again."

Although David found what he was looking for from StoresOnline, there are many people who have not taken advantage of the Internet as a way to market their products. To those people, David offers this bit of advice:

"If you are wondering, I don't think you have missed the [Internet] wave. With a little work and focus, you can get right on that wave and start riding it. And with StoresOnline, it doesn't take long to see a turnaround."
